After 2 days of vegetarian cooking, I spent the weekend at the cottage with my family. Other than green smoothies for breakfast, the rest of it seemed to go out the window. The dragon was surely disturbed. It’s certainly true that cooked food is one of the cruelest addictions. Here I am, dealing with health concerns – limping with a cane – and yet I allowed myself to be coerced into eating things that I KNOW were not in my best interest over the weekend. Tuesday I head back north – a bag of fruit, vegetables from my CSA share, and a loaf of Ezekiel bread for a ‘treat’. Perhaps some raw cheese.
