Breakfast of Champions

I have finally been inspired to take action for real change. On April 17th, I heard Dr. Brian Clement speak for the second time and I found some elements of his talk that really resonated with me – namely, dealing with issues of self-love and respect. I had never really examined my diet from this angle before, but of course, it makes perfect sense. Treating the body poorly – smoking, drinking, the consumption of unhealthy foods – does not show love and care of oneself. Nurturing the body and fueling it with live-sustaining nutrients does!

I am very pendulous with my food consumption; however I have finally found a solution that appears to be working for me. I pledge to give myself the healthiest start to each day that I can. It’s not the most delicious, and I do have to cheer myself up to it at times, but the results are already phenomenal.

Breakfast Booster:

- 1 shot of wheatgrass
- 1 shot of E3 live (algae)
- 1 cup of juiced greens (kale, chard, collards, romaine, sprouts, celery) + apple/pear/lemon

If I am still a bit hungry, I might snack on some Ezekiel sprouted cereal, or a piece of fruit. I gleaned the above suggested morning-starter from Dr. Brian Clement’s “Longevity Diet”. Although I might falter later in the day, I know I have given my 100% to start the day in a way that represents how I feel about myself!
